When you log into your WPMU blog you are taken to the dashboard.
The Dashboard gives you access to a powerful starting point: the Administration Panel at the top of the page.
When you select any of the categories from the Administrative Panel, associated categories open below. For starters note especially, Write, Manage, Blogroll, Presentation, Users and Options.
When you select Write from the Administrative Panel, two categories open in the secondary Administrative Panel, Write Post and Write Page.
Posts appear on the first page of your blog. They are a good way to communicate general information, and if comments are turned on, invite commentary from members of the WPMU community.
Pages place information on secondary pages.
When you select Manage from the Administrative Panel, several categories open in the secondary Administrative Panel. This is probably the most important command area. From Manage you can view, edit, or delete Posts, Pages, Uploads, Categories, Comments, and more.
When you select Blogroll from the Administrative Panel, three categories open in the secondary Administrative Panel: Manage Blogroll, Add Link, and Import Links. From Manage Blogroll you can edit or delete links. Select the Add Link command to add links to the blogroll. If you have bookmarks from another program that can be saved in OPML format, you can use the Import Links function.
You can change the appearance of your blog by selecting Presentation from the Administrative Panel.
When you select Users from the Administrative Panel you have the ability to search for users of your blog (people who have joined your site) or to add users from the Stockton WPMU community. Select Your Profile from the secondary Administrative Panel to edit your personal profile and change your password.
When you select Options from the Administrative Panel, a secondary Administrative Panel opens that allows you to fine-tune the use of many of the capabilities we have described above.
