Pam Cross’s Freshman Seminar

You’ve landed on the blog for Pam Cross’s Fall 2008 freshman seminar, Power & the American Experience. We’ll be discussing the haves, the have-a-littles, and have-nots of power in America. We’ll start with the Declaration of Independence and Consitution as documents that suggest both an American ideal and a worriedness about abuses of power. We will watch this year’s Presidential election closely and I hope have some spirited political discussions. The forefathers (and a couple of foremothers) wouldn’t have it any other way! Welcome.
