‘Printed’ solar cells coming to windows, clothing

When we think of plastic, we think its bad for the environment.  But–what if plastic could be used for electricity?  That’s what Konarka, a solar company, is doing.  They have developed a technology to create rolls of plastic to convert light to electricity.  Simply put, solar power will be embedded into everything, from flassing coke bottles to wireless sensors.  To read more, check out this article.

    This is very interesting, and would be of convience to many. I have bags full of plastic at the end of the week, if I could use them for converting light to electricity, this would be great!
