Iphone Video Recorder-WOW
The Iphone Video Recorder, allowing the device to take live video and save it to the internal hard drive, is a welcome addition that adds even more functionality. It uses the still camera to record video, then it encodes the data afterwards. By processing it this way, it maximizes resolution and makes for smaller video files, only 60 MB for an hour of video. Just the idea of being able to take a video whenever the time arises is extremely convienent and useful. The free version only allows for video clips up to 30 seconds, but a $20 one-time license allows for unlimited video. Since this feature was not availabe initially when the Iphone was released, it is strongly being considered as a standard application for the Iphone 2.0.
