EOF 2009~Foundations of Reading & Writing Rocks

This course is for select students participating in The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey’s Summer EOF Program.

It will help lay the foundation for their college writing experience.  They will learn to read and think critically and to write clear, effective prose through a variety of writing projects.  By reading and writing a series of essays, students will develop a strong sense of the writing process, improve their English grammar and usage, and start to synthesize what they read with what they experience and what they think.  Students will work very hard these next five weeks, but I know they will emerge as more confident, prepared freshpeople.
