When I got my first computer, back in the good old days of the early 90’s, when something in 3-D was like as unbleavible amazing that you felt as if hand of God had brought a gift directly from the heavens, I palyed a then unkown game DOOM. Mainly because it came as part of a free demo disk of 25 id games and I mainly picked it because of the title. But when I started playing I was blown by the graphics and amazed by the detail, unfortunatly I was a stupid child a couldn’t figure out to hit the space bar to open a door and so after a half hour running around the same room quit the game and then played the next game on the list Wolfenstine 3-D. Which was incrediable.
Eventually I figured out how to play DOOM and I spent much of my childhood killing demons and Nazis (ahh, good times) but as I got older I also became increasingly interrested the people behind the game and after a little research found that my two favorite childhood games were made by the same person, John Romero. Which then led me to the Quake series of games because I loved his other work.
And so now I have made a Blog on Jhon Romero mainly cause to pass my class I need to make a blog on a game designer but also to give me a forum to talk about the type of games I love (overly violent
