Images Inspired by the Story

american_civil_war_montage_24.jpeg

This photo is of War on a shore line; I feel that it represents the passage in the story when “the first wash of the wave of war broke upon the shores of Missouri” (Twain 1).

This Photo was chosen because the men were in military camps and constantly had to move due to rumors of their enemy approaching their camp (Twain 11).

This picture represents the men and women who were unknown and unfortunately killed during the war like the man that was shot and killed in the story; “the man was not in uniform, and was not armed.  He was a stranger in the country, that was all we ever found out about him” (Twain 12).
