This author takes an interesting biblical look at “The Lottery”. Using a story from the old testament the author makes connections between Jackson’s story and Joshua 7. This comparison is a departure from the usual search for gothic and supernatural symbolism therefore it provides a fresh perspective on “The Lottery”.
