This project celebrates short stories written by American authors from the 19th century to the present.
The pages were created by students enrolled in a course on The American Short Story at Richard Stockton College. Each student’s weblog focuses on a single short story, and includes a biography of the author, a summary and close reading of the story, a collection of related links and images, and an annotated bibliography.
The course is taught by Professor Deborah Gussman in Stockton’s Literature program.
We hope you enjoy your visit!
