Welcome to the South Jersey Center for Digital Humanities: The Blog! The SJCDH has the mission of fostering and consolidating a support network for scholars interested in the application of computers and digital technologies to the humanities. We are fortunate to be housed within the School of Arts and Humanities at Stockton College, so we can build on its strong tradition of dynamic interaction between scholars in communications, creative writing, cultural studies, graphic design, history, Holocaust studies, languages, literature, philosophy, religion, visual arts, and performing arts. Our goal is to provide Stockton faculty — and anyone else who cares to visit us — with information on resources and opportunities available in the digital world.

SJCDH: The Blog is our informal networking space. Post a comment, ask a question, start a thread. Send us news and updates, and we’ll gather them together to present on our main webpage. Include a category (choose an existing category or create a new one) for your posting, so that Wordpress can do its magic and gather together posts and comments on similar topics.

Our website and blog are still works in progress, so please send us suggestions and comments, either by posting them or (if your criticism is really, really harsh and you want to spare us embarrassment) via email to Lisa Rosner. If you are a Stockton faculty member and would like to be added to our list of affiliates, please let me know. Or if you have a blog that deals with relevant topics and want it added to our Blogrolls, please send us the URL. (Please note that all links in this website must meet Stockton’s cyberspace guidelines).
