As I’m coming down the home stretch to completing my Literature Bachelor’s degree, I bring much about what I have learned and experienced through my years of college.  From my days at Camden County College, to the experience here at Richard Stockton College of NJ and to the opening ending for more experiences down the road.

It was a few shorts years ago I graduated high school and moved my education onto Camden County College.  The transition was a little difficult.  I had to pick my own classes, I didn’t know what I wanted to be, the work was harder, and not to state the obvious but I had to fight the urge of skipping class because I was really on my when it came to me attending class. It was me holding my future in my hands. But it wasn’t long until I was on track. In my second year I realized I wanted to be an elementary school teacher, so I took classes pertaining to becoming a teacher and I loved the experience. From learning about the formalities in schools to the hands on projects that put me into a classroom where I can learn firsthand what is was like to be a teacher. It wasn’t long until the ball started to roll.

As the ball started to roll forward so did my future. It was time for me to move on. I transferred to Richard Stockton College of NJ after obtaining my associate’s degree at Camden County College. It was there I knew teaching was in my future. As an aspiring teacher, I volunteered my time to help out at a middle school. I was there in the middle of an 8th grade English classroom, helping out those students who needed me and the experience was amazing.

But as an aspiring elementary school teacher and coming down the home stretch in completing my Literature degree at RSCNJ I bring to you my weblog. For the most part it’s Literature and teacher education based. There numerous categories such as must have literature, a personal journey, links to resources that can be used by teachers, and many more. There is also information pertaining to teaching philosophies as well as literature resource links. In attempt to accommodate other aspiring teachers and aspiring literature majors as well, I plan to develop into the longs day of my career and future.
